Texas Hill Country

Important Trip Info
Over the Fourth of July weekend in 2025, torrential rain fell across the Texas Hill Country, causing widespread flooding, significant damage, and tragic loss of life. Convoy of Hope responded through relief efforts in the immediate aftermath and continues to partner with local organizations walking alongside their neighbors toward a new normal. Field Teams have an incredible opportunity to help restore hope throughout the region.
Opportunities include remodeling and rebuilding homes, supporting local initiatives that serve affected families (such as thrift stores), and working with partners to help alleviate poverty in the area.
While people of all skill levels are welcome to serve, we ask each team to recruit at least 2–3 individuals with moderate construction experience who can provide additional support with the building and/or remodeling projects.
Trip Cost Breakdown
Types of Projects
As Convoy of Hope serves storm-affected communities and people, teams assist with short- and long-term needs. Groups of various sizes and skills are welcome to join Field Teams to assist with debris cleanup, rehabilitating or rebuilding damaged structures, connecting with local people, and various small projects and large endeavors. With the amount of work needed, we ask that each team bring at least 2-3 people with moderate construction skills.
We are working closely with our local partners to determine specific projects your team will participate in, depending on the most urgent needs of the local community. We will communicate the projects to you as the trip approaches.
The requested project cost helps fund your team's project work. If your team would like to donate beyond that amount, we welcome your generosity as it directly expands what we can accomplish!
Note: While photos on this page were taken in connection with Convoy of Hope and/or Field Teams trips, each trip is unique, and engagement opportunities may differ.
